invasive aquatic plant identification protocol

The following protocol can be used by residents, fishermen and boaters to determine if suspicious plants are non-native or invasive and pose a threat to the health of our natural resources or to recreational safety. This protocol enables residents and those using its waterways to submit aquatic plant species that they have discovered in our towns' water bodies. It is hoped that this process will keep track of aquatic plants that reside in our waters and will  allow recognition as early as possible when a new species has been introduced.
