clarity
Clarity is measured by using a Secchi disk.  For our lakes over 5 feet is good and under 3.5 feet is not so good.  Below are last four Secchi measurements we have taken.

Temperature
FBL measures the temperature twice a month at every half meter at the deepest spot in the lake.  Below are the graphs for the last two times we were out on the lake. ​

Water Level
​There are two lake level monitors that record the level of the lakes every hour.  Below is the graph of the level of Middle Bolton lake since the beginning of the year.
Level are almost back to summer normal.

EXPLANATION of stoplight colors
  • Green- Lake is in good shape, all activities are good to go.
  • Yellow - Some activities are not advised or care should be taken when in the lake.
  • Red - The lake is closed due to treatment, eColi or other issues .
